Terms and Conditions: Account, Bonus and Wagering Rules

1. Scope of this agreement

1.1 What is covered

These terms govern the relationship between the player and the operator of LEON Bet across every part of the platform: registration and account maintenance, deposits and withdrawals, identity verification, casino play, sports and esports betting, every bonus and promotional campaign, and the responsible gambling controls attached to an account. Casino and bookmaker sit on a single account and a single balance, so a rule written here applies to both products unless the clause says otherwise.

1.2 What sits alongside it

Individual promotions carry their own terms, published on the page of the offer concerned, and where a promotion term conflicts with a general rule below it governs that campaign only. The Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy on this site are separate documents covering personal information; nothing here overrides them.

2. Acceptance and changes

2.1 How the agreement is formed

Completing registration and ticking the acceptance box creates a binding agreement on these terms. Reading them is optional in practice and expected in principle, and no clause below becomes unenforceable because it was not read.

2.2 Revisions

Terms are revised from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, in payment arrangements or in obligations imposed on the operator, and a revised version takes effect when published with a new effective date. Continuing to log in, deposit or place a bet after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised version. A player who does not accept a revision should stop playing, withdraw the available balance and request account closure.

3. Eligibility and the one-account rule

3.1 Who may register

Registration is open to individuals aged 18 or over who are legally permitted to gamble where they are located. Accounts are personal: playing on behalf of someone else, or letting someone else use your account, breaches this agreement.

3.2 One account per player

Each player may hold one account. Duplicates are detected through matching identity data, payment instruments, addresses, devices and network signals. Where they are found, secondary accounts are closed, bonuses credited to them are removed and winnings from those bonuses are voided. Deposited funds unconnected to bonus abuse or another breach are returned through the original payment method.

3.3 Household, device and network

Bonus eligibility is enforced not only per account but per person, household, residential address, email address, payment instrument, IP address and device. One welcome offer is available per household, so a second registration from the same home, connection or handset is treated as a duplicate for bonus purposes even where both people are genuine individuals. The restriction applies regardless of intent.

4. Verification

4.1 What is required

Full verification requires proof of identity and, where requested, proof of address and proof that the payment method belongs to the account holder. Accepted documents are a passport, a national identity card or a driving licence, photographed or scanned in full with all four corners visible and every detail legible. Expired documents are refused.

4.2 When it happens and what it unlocks

Verification may be requested at any point and is always completed before a withdrawal is paid. A verified account can withdraw, can raise transaction ceilings where they apply, and is protected against anyone attempting to withdraw to a different payment method. An unverified account can still deposit and play, which is why verification is best completed early rather than at the moment you want your money.

4.3 Source of funds

Where anti-money-laundering obligations require it, the operator may request evidence of the source of deposited funds, and play and withdrawals may be paused until the request is satisfied. This is a licence obligation, not a discretionary check.

5. Age restriction and underage accounts

Gambling on this platform is strictly 18+. Any account found to belong to a person under 18 is suspended immediately. All winnings are voided and any bonus is removed. Net deposits, meaning deposited funds minus withdrawals already made, are returned to the source of payment once the identity of the account holder is established. Attempting to register while under 18, or assisting a minor to do so, is a breach of this agreement and may be reported.

6. Dormant accounts

An account with no login, deposit, bet or withdrawal for an extended period is classified as dormant. Dormancy does not cause closure, forfeit the balance or trigger a maintenance charge here; the balance stays as it was left. Reactivation means logging in again, and if verification was never completed or documents have since expired, verification must be finished before any withdrawal is released. Bonus funds and free spins that expired during the dormant period are not reinstated.

7. Deposits, withdrawals and payment methods

7.1 Accepted methods and currency

LEON Bet supports deposits and withdrawals through Visa, Mastercard and Skrill, and balances for Australian players are held in AUD. Where a payment method operates in another currency, conversion is applied by the payment provider at its own rate, and any resulting difference between the deposited and returned amount is not compensated by the operator.

7.2 Minimums, ceilings and processing

Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal amounts, along with any per-transaction ceiling, are displayed in the cashier at the moment of the transaction, since they vary by method and can change. Check the figure shown there rather than relying on a number quoted elsewhere. Withdrawals are reviewed and approved by the operator and are then subject to the processing time of the receiving payment provider, which the operator does not control.

7.3 Closed-loop rule

Withdrawals return to the payment method used for the deposit wherever that method supports it, and otherwise to an alternative method in the same name as the account holder. Payments to a third party are never made.

7.4 Withdrawal tiers

Withdrawal capacity is organised in tiers linked to cumulative deposit history, so accounts with a longer transaction record carry higher weekly and monthly ceilings than newly opened ones. The tier applying to your account, and the ceilings attached to it, are shown in the cashier and confirmed by support on request. Tier ceilings apply to the total withdrawn in the period, not to a single transaction, and conversion to AUD is applied where the ceiling is expressed in another currency.

7.5 Deposit activity condition

This clause is unusual and is stated here rather than buried. Where funds are deposited and then withdrawn with little or no genuine play in between, the operator may withhold a commission on the withdrawn amount to cover the payment costs of a transaction that produced no gaming activity. The rate, and the activity threshold that avoids it including the minimum odds at which a sports bet counts as qualifying play, are published in the operator's current payment and promotional terms and confirmed by support before you transact. Play the deposited funds normally and the clause does not apply.

8. How the bonus system is structured

Sports bonuses and casino bonuses run on separate systems with separate balances and separate rules. A sports bonus is wagered through betting turnover at qualifying odds; a casino bonus is wagered through game rounds subject to contribution rates. Neither clears the other, and progress made on one does not carry across. Where an account holds both, each is wagered independently and in the order the platform applies.

Sports campaign parameters, including the turnover multiplier, minimum qualifying odds and validity window, are set per campaign and are not uniform. Never assume the conditions of a previous promotion carry over.

9. Claiming a bonus

9.1 Opting in

A bonus applies only where it has been claimed: by opting in on the promotion page, entering a promotional code before depositing, or accepting the offer shown in the cashier. A qualifying deposit made without claiming does not attract the bonus retrospectively, and a credited bonus cannot be swapped for another.

9.2 The welcome package

The standard welcome offer is a 100% match up to A$1,000 plus 100 free spins. A separate High Roller offer provides a 100% match up to A$10,000 for players depositing at that level. The two are alternatives, not a combination; claiming one closes the other for that deposit. Both carry the wagering rules set out below and the campaign terms published on the promotion page.

9.3 One at a time

Only one bonus may be active on an account at any moment. A new bonus cannot be claimed while an existing one is still being wagered, and claiming a new offer where the platform permits it may forfeit the unwagered remainder of the previous one.

10. Wagering requirements

10.1 What the requirement is

A wagering requirement is the total amount that must be staked before funds derived from a bonus become withdrawable. It is a turnover figure, not a loss figure: the same money counts each time it is staked, and a stake returned as a win counts again when restaked.

10.2 How it is calculated

The requirement is a multiplier applied either to the bonus alone or to the bonus plus the qualifying deposit. Which base applies is stated on the promotion page, and the difference is significant.

Worked example. Suppose you deposit A$100 and receive a 100% match, giving a bonus of A$100. If the campaign applies its multiplier to the bonus only, the turnover needed is the bonus multiplied by that figure. If it applies to deposit plus bonus, the base is A$200 and the required turnover is correspondingly higher for the same multiplier. Read the base and the multiplier together on the offer page before claiming; each campaign publishes its own.

10.3 Free spins winnings

Winnings from free spins are credited as bonus funds and carry their own wagering requirement, stated in the campaign that issued them. Free spins expire, and unused spins lapse without replacement.

10.4 Tracking progress

Remaining wagering is shown in the bonus section of the account and updates as rounds settle. Check it there rather than estimating.

11. Game contribution rates

Not every game clears wagering at the same rate. Contribution is a percentage of each stake counted towards the requirement, and the schedule is published with each campaign:

  • Slots generally contribute at the full published rate.
  • Live casino, roulette, blackjack, baccarat and other table games contribute at a reduced rate, because their theoretical return is higher and their variance lower.
  • Video poker and games with a very high theoretical return contribute at a reduced rate or not at all.
  • Excluded titles contribute nothing. Stakes placed on them do not advance wagering at all, even though the money is genuinely at risk.

Check the excluded list before starting. Playing an excluded title while a bonus is active does not void the bonus by itself, but it consumes balance without moving the requirement.

12. Maximum bet while a bonus is active

A maximum stake per round or per bet applies for as long as bonus funds or bonus-derived funds are in play, and the cap is published with each campaign. It prevents a bonus being converted into a single large-stake gamble, and it covers total round exposure, including doubled stakes, bonus buys where permitted, and simultaneous bets across games.

Exceeding the cap risks the bonus and everything won from it. Where a breach is found, the operator may void the bonus and its winnings and return the account to its pre-bonus cash position.

13. Free Bet mechanics

A Free Bet is a sports stake funded by the operator rather than by the account balance.

  • It must be used in full on a single bet. It cannot be split across several selections or partially staked.
  • The Free Bet stake is not returned in the payout. Net winnings equal the total return minus the Free Bet stake. A Free Bet of a given value at odds of 3.00 therefore returns twice its value, not three times.
  • A Free Bet has an expiry date and lapses unused if the deadline passes.
  • Minimum qualifying odds, eligible markets and any turnover attached to the winnings are set by the campaign that issued it. Cashed-out and voided selections may not count.

14. Bonus validity and forfeiture

Every bonus carries a validity period counted from the moment it is credited. If the wagering requirement is not met within that window, the bonus and any winnings still attributable to it are removed and the account returns to its cash balance. Bonus funds left unclaimed after wagering is completed are forfeited once the campaign period ends. Deadlines vary, so check the expiry on the promotion page when you opt in.

15. Bonus abuse

The following are grounds for voiding a bonus, confiscating bonus-derived winnings and, in serious or repeated cases, closing the account: multiple accounts run by one person or a coordinated group; registrations sharing a household, device, connection or payment instrument in order to collect repeated welcome offers; hedged betting patterns designed to clear turnover without genuine exposure, including opposing bets across markets or accounts; systematic breaches of the maximum bet rule; falsified verification documents; and automated software used to place bets or spins.

Where abuse is established, cash deposits unrelated to it are returned. Where there is reasonable suspicion, a bonus and its winnings may be held pending review, and the outcome is explained to the player.

16. Responsible gambling controls attached to the account

Deposit limits, wagering limits, session limits and reality checks are free in the responsible gambling section of every LEON Bet account, alongside temporary and permanent self-exclusion. As a matter of rule: a request that tightens a control applies immediately, a request that loosens one applies only after a cooling-off period, a temporary self-exclusion cannot be lifted early by any route including a request to support, and a permanent self-exclusion is irreversible and blocks re-registration in the same name. Bonuses are not credited to an excluded account and marketing to it ceases. The responsible gambling page on this site explains each control in detail.

17. Independent support and self-assessment

Free, confidential help is available in Australia independently of this platform. Gambling Help Online (gamblinghelponline.org.au) offers counselling around the clock at no cost and publishes a free self-assessment questionnaire. BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register (betstop.gov.au) is an Australian Government register covering Australian-licensed wagering services; a registration there does not by itself close an account here, so a player wanting both must use the self-exclusion above as well.

18. Operator and licence

LEON Bet has been running since 2008 and is operated by Bluewave Interactive N.V. under licence № OGL/2024/1161/0454, issued by Curaçao Gaming Authority in the Comoros. That licence is the regulatory basis on which the service is provided, including its self-exclusion and anti-money-laundering obligations. The operator is not licensed by an Australian gambling regulator, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming Australian regulatory approval. Players are responsible for knowing what applies where they live.

19. Governing law and language

This agreement is governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the licence is issued, and disputes not resolved through the process in section 20 fall to the forum designated there. Consumer protections available to an Australian resident under Australian law are not displaced by this clause. These terms are published in English and the English text prevails; translations are provided for convenience, and where a translated version diverges in meaning the English wording governs.

20. Complaints and disputes

20.1 First step

Raise the matter through live chat inside the account, or with the operator's support service, giving the account name, the date and time of the event, the game or bet reference, and the outcome sought. Straightforward complaints are answered promptly; matters needing investigation are acknowledged and given a target response time when they are logged.

20.2 Game and bet disputes

Where a dispute concerns a game round or a settled bet, the operator retrieves the server-side round history and, for sports, the settlement source. Those records are the reference used, ahead of screenshots, because they are the authoritative log of what the server processed. Obvious errors in odds, settlement or game malfunction are corrected in either direction, and a bet accepted at a manifestly incorrect price may be voided with the stake returned.

20.3 Account and withdrawal disputes

Disputes about verification, held funds or a voided bonus are handled by the team that made the decision, with the reason and the rule relied on stated in writing.

20.4 Escalation

If the outcome is unsatisfactory or the matter is not resolved in the time indicated, the complaint may be escalated beyond the support team to the licensing authority, Curaçao Gaming Authority, and to the independent dispute resolution provider designated under that licence. Support supplies the current escalation address on request and issues a complaint reference so the case can be traced. Australian residents keep any right they hold under Australian consumer law to raise the matter locally.

21. Account closure

An account may be closed at any time by request through live chat or support. Any withdrawable balance is paid out once verification is complete, and bonus funds still under wagering at closure are forfeited. The operator may also suspend or close an account for a breach of this agreement or where a legal or licence obligation requires it, giving the reason except where disclosure is legally restricted.

22. Contact

Questions about these LEON Bet terms go to live chat inside the account, which is the direct route to the support team, or to the operator's support service. Quote the section number you are asking about; it makes the answer faster and more precise. Nothing said in a chat replaces the published wording of a campaign, so where an answer matters financially, ask for it in writing on the ticket.
